


Sonya Dadekian is an actress and singer born and raised in Los Angeles. She has been performing since she was very young, and spent her four years of high school in the nationally renowned, award-winning John Burroughs High School Vocal Music Association in the top two show choir groups, Sound Sensations and Powerhouse. She has spent the last four years furthering her education at Florida Southern College, pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre. Her plans after graduation are to move to New York and build a career in theatre.
Sonya has had the opportunity to grow vastly as a performer in her years at Florida Southern. Her professional credits include starring as Sophie in an original play titled Mushy by KG Uslan at the Orlando Fringe Festival, for which she earned a glowing review. During her collegiate education, she has had the opportunity to play many versatile roles, including Gloria in Boeing Boeing, Pugsley in The Addams Family, Hope in Seasons, and Little Sally U/S in Urinetown.
Sonya also has a minor in Graphic Design, and enjoys many other creative outlets. Outside of performing, she likes crocheting, arts and crafts, painting, drawing, playing piano, watching movies, and baking. She runs her own crochet instagram shop as well, you can check it out at @sonya.crochets !
